To give superyacht crews the tools to provision with complete confidence — so nothing is left to chance, nothing runs out, and their energy goes where it belongs.
The Story
I am a chef on superyachts. I have spent more hours than I care to remember in a bilge with a notepad, counting tins, writing the same things down twice, and still somehow managing to run out of something important at the worst possible moment.
Every yacht I have worked on had the same system. Clipboards. Spreadsheets that lived on one person's laptop. WhatsApp messages to the Chief Stew that got buried in the thread. Guest preferences written on sticky notes that disappeared before the next charter. Provisioning orders built from memory and instinct, not data.
The process had not changed in decades. And nobody had built anything to fix it — not because the problem was not real, but because nobody who actually understood life on board had sat down to solve it. So I did.
What We Built
VoiSea is a voice-first inventory management system built for the realities of life on a working yacht. No desk. No time. Often offline. Always moving.
You walk the dry store, the wine cellar, the beach club, and you speak what you see. VoiSea listens, parses your voice into clean inventory records, matches items to your existing stock, and flags anything below par. A full stocktake that used to take an hour now takes ten minutes.
The same approach runs through every part of the system. Provisioning orders built from real shortfall data, not guesswork. Guest preferences captured by voice and stored against their profile for every future trip. Orders sent to suppliers by email or WhatsApp in seconds. Everything in one place, shared by the whole team — from the Captain to the newest junior stew.
Where We Are
VoiSea is currently in private beta, being tested on a real working superyacht by a real working crew. It is invite-only right now — not because we want to be exclusive, but because we want to get it right before we open the doors.
Everything we build is in service of one thing: giving crews the confidence to know that what they ordered will arrive, that nothing will run out, and that their energy can go where it belongs — on the guests, on the experience, on the work they are actually here to do.
